THE SPLIT’s debut EP Can’t Get Enough now available!
Today, Ottawa-based Label Records released THE SPLIT’s much-anticipated debut soul EP, Can’t Get Enough. THE SPLIT have created modern tunes firmly rooted in 60s and 70s soul rock and funk that poignantly express thoughts of love, loss, life’s pressures, and starting over. Can’t Get Enough features the mind-blowing vocals of frontman Matthew Chaffey, hard-hitting bass lines, and incredible horns laid down by the legendary Texas Horns (Austin, TX).

THE SPLIT devoted much of 2013 to creating Can’t Get Enough working with the talented and experienced Ken Friesen (MonkeyJunk, The Tragically Hip, Great Big Sea et al.) and Phillip Victor Bova (HILOTRONS, Feist, Bahamas, et al.).
THE SPLIT will begin promoting Can’t Get Enough at its official release party on Saturday, March 15th at the historic Black Sheep Inn (Wakefield, QC) and will hit the road in the spring of 2014 to continue promoting their EP. THE SPLIT’s dynamic live show is described as “a melting pot of classic soul and 60s rock with astonishing results” by the Festival International du Blues de Tremblant.
