THE SPLIT Video Release Party
THE SPLIT will release its first official music video for “Doo Wop”, the second single off their debut EP Can’t Get Enough, Friday, October 3rd at the Black Sheep Inn in Wakefield, QC.
The video for ‘Doo Wop’ was filmed live off the floor – no retakes, no overdubs – a testament to the impressive vocals of THE SPLIT’s frontman Matthew Chaffey. The concept for the video illustrates a new creative collaboration, known as ‘CROWDED ROOM’, between Gallery Recording Studios, Dan Rascal Productions, and Log Creative Bureau that situates bands amidst their audience to create a unique musical experience for both the musicians and the crowd. THE SPLIT’s new video is the first product of the CROWDED ROOM collaboration, but future events are being planned to feature other local talent in a similar fashion.
